Welcome back Kings Hammer Families! We are so glad to be back, and we are so glad you are here with us. We can\u2019t wait to see what this season has in store for us, but we know it will be EPIC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pre Season Camp<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before the season began, we hosted Preseason Camp for the Elite boys. We loved to see players and coaches show up for each other, and we can\u2019t wait to see what they bring to the pitch this fall!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Juniors officially kicked off!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Juniors season is here and we are so excited! The first cycle of the program is in full swing, but don\u2019t worry if you missed this one or are already itching for more! We still have another session, this fall waiting for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cycle 2 of the Juniors Program runs from October 12th<\/sup>   to November 20th<\/sup> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kings Hammer International Trip<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

19 players. Three hubs. One club. One incredible week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our 2026 Kings Hammer International Trip, hosted by InspireSport, took players and coaches across England and Scotland for a week of elite training, international competition, and unforgettable experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The squad trained with Manchester City Academy and Celtic FC staff, toured the Etihad Stadium, Anfield, and Celtic Park, and competed in two friendly matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result? 3 wins, 1 draw, 0 losses!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than the results, this trip was about coming together, representing Kings Hammer with pride, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. What an incredible experience across the pond!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kings Hammer lends a hand in the community<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Elite 12-1 Boys helped the community by packing overnight food bags for children, who are experiencing food insecurity, in the Atlas program at Rutherford County Public Schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is amazing to see Kings Hammer teams give back to their community together. If you or your team have helped out in the local community, share it with us!<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cShe Owns the Pitch\u201d at MTSU<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Come join us for girls’ night at MTSU August 30th<\/sup>  at 6 P.M. !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MTSU\u2019s women’s soccer team will be playing against Lipscomb University . There will be a Kings Hammer tent at 5 P.M. where you can enter into raffle, temporary tattoos, a half-time game, and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From The National Technical Desk: Own the Ordinary<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

August is behind us, and training and games are running full steam across every hub. The nerves of day one are gone, and what is left now is the grind: the Tuesday sessions, the midweek games, the drills we have already run a dozen times. That is exactly what I want to talk about this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first day gets the attention. The excitement, the new rosters, the fresh grass. But a month in, the newness wears off, and what is left is routine. That routine is where the season actually gets decided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Own the Ordinary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A month into the season, the test is not showing up on day one with energy. Anyone can do that. The test is showing up to the fifteenth practice, the third game in ten days, the training session after a tough loss, and competing like it still counts. Because it does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Owning the ordinary right now means a player still fighting for a first touch in a rondo they have done a hundred times. It means a coach still demanding the same standard in week four that they demanded in week one. It means a parent still showing up early to a Tuesday practice in the middle of a long season, because the routine is the work. Most people bring their best to the big moments and coast through the rest. We are building players, coaches, and families who bring their best to the parts of the season nobody is watching, week after week, because that is what actually separates a good season from a great one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is the KH Way in action, not just in theory. Every ordinary rep right now, in the thick of the schedule, is still building the player who will be ready when a real moment shows up in October or November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relentless Action in the middle of the grind<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relentless Action is easy to picture in a big moment: the sprint back on defense, the dive for a fifty-fifty ball. It is harder, and more important, in the middle of a long season, when the games blur together and the effort starts to feel optional. That is exactly where it matters most. It is not a one-time event. It is showing up the same way in week four as you did on day one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I’m asking this month<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not let the routine wear down the standard. Bring the same competitiveness to this week’s training that you brought to the first one. Trust that the ordinary work happening right now, in the middle of a full schedule, is what will show up when the season gets tight later on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Full steam ahead. Own the ordinary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bring the Relentless Action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

College is just around the corner for some of our Kings Hammer seniors, which means college commitments are on the way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would love to celebrate with<\/a> all our seniors. If you are officially committed to a college, please share your first and last name, a KH photo of you or you playing, and what school you are planning to attend to marketing coordinator, Paige Mast (pmast@kingshammer.com<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can\u2019t wait to see what the future holds for all our seniors!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GK Union Save of the Month<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

New to Kings Hammer and the KH GK Union? Get to know our GK Union Save of the Month and the Aubrey Kingsbury Save of the Year initiative!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Save of the Month<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each month, goalkeepers from across the club have the opportunity to submit their best saves from their Kings Hammer matches on our GK Union facebook page<\/strong><\/a>. At the end of each month, our National Director of Goalkeeping, Lou Liberatore, will select two participants, one boy and one girl, as the Kings Hammer GK Union Save of the Month winners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To enter your saves for a chance to be named our Save of the Month winner, goalkeepers from across the club should start by joining the Kings Hammer GK Union facebook page. You can upload your save videos to this page with your name, your team name and where the save took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aubrey Kingsbury Save of the Year<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Aubrey Kingsbury Save of the Year was created in collaboration with USWNT and NWSL goalkeeper Aubrey Kingsbury who is also an alumna of Kings Hammer. At the end of the \u201826\/\u201927 season, Aubrey will review all of the season\u2019s Save of the Month winners and select a boy and a girl winner for Save of the Year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We want to wish everyone the best of luck this season. We look forward to seeing everyone\u2019s best saves and blocks!<\/p>\n\n\n
